A warm, down-to-earth approach, grounded in research on the brain-body connection, trauma recovery and attachment theory.
People usually come to therapy because something painful has happened — a divorce, a lay-off, a break-up, a death.
Others choose to come because they sense the possibility of a better life — a real relationship, a more satisfying career. They want change, but they're not sure how to get it.
Either way, therapy is a quest to feel out and reveal what we normally keep hidden. To think what may sometimes seem unthinkable. And in doing so, to discover and accept who we truly are, what we truly know, and what we truly want, on a deep level.
My approach is down-to-earth and real. I'm trained in Jungian analytic psychology, Gestalt therapy, EMDR, somatics and dreamwork. Born in Asia, raised in the UK and Europe, and naturalised as a US citizen, I draw on multiple cultural traditions.
I'm a core faculty member at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, and a member of the US Climate Psychology Alliance. I offer therapy and coaching in English and in French, in the San Francisco Bay Area and worldwide.
I mostly see women and AFAB people. I'm trans-affirming and queer-friendly, and I don't expect you to be white.
